I am a Teaching Professor and Director of Graduate Computing Programs in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University - Oakland. I was previously a Professor of Computer Science at the University of San Francisco and a Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation where I co-led the NSF Scholarships in STEM (S-STEM) program and worked on the Improving Undergraduate Education program and the Advanced Technical Education program. I teach classes in the areas of Software Development and Distributed Systems, and I am passionate about broadening participation in computing.
